SpeakFlow AI

Legal draft

Privacy notice

This page documents the product's technical privacy behavior for the closed beta. It is not final legal advice and must be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public launch.

What the service stores

Account details, learning preferences, lesson state, saved transcripts (only with consent), corrections, vocabulary, summaries, billing identifiers, credit transactions, and technical usage needed to operate and secure the service.

Voice and transcripts

Microphone audio is sent to the realtime AI provider to conduct the lesson. Audio recording and storage are disabled by default. Transcript storage is controlled by a separate consent. You can continue an audio-only lesson without saving its transcript.

AI and payment providers

OpenAI processes lesson inputs needed to generate the tutor response. Supabase provides authentication and data storage. Stripe hosts checkout and the billing portal; SpeakFlow does not store card numbers.

Your controls

The settings area lets you review consent choices, export your learning data, delete lesson data, and request account deletion. Some financial records may need to be retained or pseudonymized where law requires it.

Security and retention

Access is restricted per user, secrets stay on the server, and operational logs must exclude full transcripts and credentials. Retention periods and the final legal basis must be confirmed before the public launch.
